2nd Saturday in October is celebrated with the Pattison Car Show. This year was the 4th annual and the City of Pattison honored Bert and Jim Meader with October 10, 2009 as their day.
The car show was moved from the old Royal ISD Early Childhood Center to the new Royal ISD High School at the last minute because of the rains the previous day. It looks like the future car shows will be hosted at the Royal ISD High School. Their facilities really came in handy and it was a great way to show off the new school to the local community and the visitors from all over Texas.
